Our duty of care
As residents in this beautiful countryside, we have a responsibility to ensure that it remains as unspoilt and natural as possible. We believe that we have a duty of care to preserve our landscape for local people and visitors to enjoy, both now and into the future.
Although the term “wind farm” is used throughout this website (as it is a well understood term), it does tend to romanticise the proposals. We know what a farm is and prefer to use the term “wind power station” as that’s what this development represents - an industrial complex to produce electricity.
